Before hosting a 12 Steps of Recovery for Life meeting, each host must ensure they have read, understood, and completed the guidance set out for hosting responsibly and in keeping with the values of the fellowship. This includes being familiar with the core principles of the programme, meeting the requirements for hosting a meeting, and understanding the role and importance of sponsorship within recovery.

Prospective hosts should review these documents before offering to host a meeting, so that every meeting is held safely, consistently, and in line with the spirit of the 12 Steps of Recovery for Life.
